Bringing new life into recruitments with RecruitWise
In a recent case study, TalentTrack Solutions was faced with an application, known as RecruitW, which had accumulated a large amount of data over the years. Faced with the need to modernize, they decided to develop a new application, called RecruitWise. However, although RecruitWise was functional, they faced significant challenges in terms of user experience and employees resisted adopting the new platform. As a result, many employees still preferred to use the old application.
The aim was to understand why they weren't using the new application and to get them to use it intuitively and without fear.
1. Identify problems
Mediaweb proposed carrying out a UX Review of the RecruitWise application, with the aim of identifying all the existing problems and proposing solutions.
So we started a UX Review process, where we carried out an in-depth analysis of the RecruitWise application, going through the following processes:
- Project evaluation;
- Desk research;
- Heuristic evaluation;
- Interviews and usability tests with users;
- Content audit;
- Persona value proposition analysis;
- Accessibility review;
- Delivered a final report with the results of the UX Review.
3. What did we do with the results?
After completing the UX Review and with some suggestions for improving the application, Mediaweb ended up working on redesigning the application, initially in terms of UX, applying the suggestions given to the client, and then on the new look of the application, using some styles that had been created previously.

The end result is an interface that not only attracts users visually, but also guides them effectively through the application's functionalities, thus promoting a positive and engaging experience.
