InspectTech: Streamline Your Factory Audits Effortlessly
The project introduced AuditSphereX (desktop) and AuditView (tablet), two advanced audit management platforms designed to overhaul factory safety inspections. Its aim was to address and solve the problems of inconsistent documentation and ineffective coordination between inspectors. AuditSphereX and AuditView offer a unified digital solution for scheduling, recording inspections and obtaining secure digital confirmations, improving safety compliance, inspection accuracy and maintenance practices, setting a new standard in safety audit operations.
In developing the AuditSphereX and AuditView platforms for streamlining factory safety inspections, we integrated traditional strategies like process flow analysis and comprehensive mockup designs with rapid feedback cycles from industry experts and end-users to continuously refine our application. This foundation enabled us to skillfully implement a wide array of features, utilizing agile development methodologies to ensure flexibility and adherence to UX/UI best practices. Through this tailored approach, we tackled the extensive requirements of the project, culminating in a robust, user-focused, and efficient tool for managing and conducting safety audits.
1. Research and Exploration
Through analysis of the project requirements, research and exploration phases were developed, understanding how the pages could exist and how they relate to each other.
2. Styleguide
In this project, a style guide was created to establish clear guidelines for colors, typography and graphic elements, guaranteeing a consistent user experience. This guide facilitates the development and maintenance of the application, promoting consistency and quality in the design.
The end user interface of our application incorporates simplicity, clarity and intuitive design both on desktop and tablet. This interface prioritizes user-friendly navigation, enhancing accessibility and ease of use for all users.
This interface is planned to fit the day-to-day needs of the teams that routinely visit infrastructures and must analyse and review the safety and conformance of the procedures agains with the national and international regulations for the creation of products and goods. AuditView, a mobile tablet platform, accompanies the day to day activities of the field inspector that must visit and inspect various locations review the conformance, or non-conformance of the companies inspected, and register their findings and at times collect, or arrange for the collection of, samples for further analysis.
All this, while AuditsphereX, a desktop optimised platform, serves the user who are in charge of managing and coordinating the schedule of each available inspector assuring a timely inspection for the renewal of the conformance certifications and a smooth flow of all the operations
